Why we love this app
This app is so comprehensive in its teaching of the parts of speech. Kids will enjoy it, and parents and teachers will love it too. Each part of speech has it's own character, like Nelson Noun, so students can understand the function of each part of speech when they see them in action.
What it teaches and how it works
Grammaropolis focuses on the parts of speech by placing each part of speech into its own "town." Students work their way through a map of the town coming across different activities for instruction and assessment. Quizzes are placed along the way in each town, and there are a number of additional quizzes available for continued practice and assessment.
Why your kid won't be able to put it down
The sheer variety in this app makes it addictive. Each "town" has videos, books, songs and quizzes. The graphics are high quality and the songs will have kids singing along, without even realizing that they're learning along the way.
